Home of Inisfree's potentially lethal obstacle course, this region of the city also houses more than 100 Halo maps (combat training areas architecturally cloned from those of their namesake video game), as well as a three-miles section of the toughest and final combat-load hike for the Inisfreean military trainees.
Dimensions & Layout:
This swamp is two by two miles; four square miles, with a double canopy in most places, and a triple canopy in a few. An L-shaped section of the G.A.H. runs along its two outermost sides, and foot trails serpentine throughout the rest of it, though the frequent rains and mild flooding of this region often make them difficult to find.
Special Features:
High-humidity and high-moisture resistant technologies are tested in this region, such as those needed for the military; artillery, boots, silencers, socks, tanks, and water-proofing cases and accessories for computers, optics, and more. The environment-control silos beneath this region keep the drainage from the Cropland even throughout this swamp, ensuring that nearly all areas are muddy, slick, waterlogged, and full of overgrowth, such as tangles of vines.
